Flow of the Day

Dear Yoga Friend.

This is how we roll on our days out to immerse and reflect. Below is the flow of the day for the lucky 11 coming to our first event on Saturday 14th March in Recross, Co. Wicklow. Next event is Orlagh on April 17th - spaces still available. Read on to see how a day out might look like for you ….

Dear Redcross Yogis, 

I am so excited to be rolling out the Flow of the Day for our inaugural Mindfulness Morning in The Latin Quarter, Redcross, Co. Wicklow. 

Be prepared for a wonderful adventure, curated to the detail of the choice of essential oils wafting to great you. Sandra, our host, and I both share an enthusiasm of appreciating the beauty in the present moment. 

The journey there: 

Put Latin Quarter Interiors, Main Street, Redcross, Co. Wicklow, into Google Maps. From Knocklyon expect a 45-50 minute drive. You will flow from the M50 Southbound onto the M11 Southbound towards Wexford. Redcross Village is south of Wicklow Town. Take Exit at Junction 17 towards Wicklow South, Redcross. Follow signs to Redcross, taking a right at R754. It’s a beautiful drive, choose your music and your thoughts wisely! 

Your choices: 

Meet at 9am for a 40 minute silent mountain hike, rain or shine. We will enjoy a mindful walk in nature to a viewing point over the Irish Sea. Reflect as we circle back in more beautiful nature.

We’ll be walking on solid ground, runners are fine, boots if it’s lashing. 

Or meet at 10am to get settled straight into the meditation practices being hosted in the cosy living-room space inside The Latin Quarter.

Flow of the day: 

8.50-9am. Meet at the Latin Quarter, parking is right there along the “main street”. Meet in the Archway. 

9am. Posture and alignment awareness practice. 

9.10am. Depart for 40 minute mindful hike in nature. 

9.50am. Return to Latin Quarter for settling in with Brazilian Coffee, teas of your choice, healthy snacks. Get grounded and relaxed. 

10.15am. Two hours of guided mindfulness meditation practices. Gentle yoga to relax and de-stress. Practices to explore focus, and to observe the quieting of the nervous system. Discussion and experiential. 

12.30pm. Break for lunch. 

12.30-1.30pm. A leisurely lunch indulging in bowls of incredibly wholesome vegan food from the delightful Vital Health Cafe. Delicious healthy nibbles are provided, The Latin Quarter also sell their indulgent desserts. Time for fresh air, for solitude, for a stroll through town, chats over an extra cup of tea or two, and a browse in Sandra’s beautiful shop. 

1.30-2.00pm. Reflect, Surprise yourself. Grow. Let Go. This piece is a surprise. Bring your child-like open mind to this part of the day :-)

2.00pm. Depart feeling brand new!
