Yoga dates for your diary; September and October 2021.

Dear Yoga friends, 

Here’s a summary of what's coming up for the next little while. All outdoor yoga is booked through Eventbrite. You can read more about each event on the Events and Workshops page of my website. 

Friday morning 10-11am. Yoga Flow in Mutton Lane Yoga Studio. *this class will run for the foreseeable future; we have a covered area.

Monday evening 7-8pm. Yoga Flow in Woodtown Barn. *this class will run on a week-by-week basis depending on weather. We will be back to The Park Community Centre as soon as indoor classes are back up and running safely. 

Saturday morning 10am-12noon, Saturday 11th September. Two hour yoga workshop with Yoga Nidra in Mutton Lane. *monthly workshops in Mutton Lane will run all year round. This is a perfect venue for workshops, we have a covered area, a wood-burning stove, a seated area for coffee afterwards tucked up in our blankets! Please book early as workshops usually sell out. 

Monday evening 20th September 7-8pm Full Moon Meditation. Mindful movement, meditation and mindfulness in Mutton Lane in the twilight. This first event sold out within minutes. I intend running this again and again, new dates will launch after the first event. As we go into the Winter these events will be in the dark; you'll need a flashlight, we'll be in candle-light, and we'll have the wood burning stove going (can you tell I'm a little excited about this one!!) 

Our full day event in Orlagh House. This event is currently sold out, I'm waiting for guidelines before determining when and how many we can accommodate in the chapel for our yoga. My hope is that we run in October this year. Thanks for your patience, those of you who have been waiting for this for some time now. 

Returning to teaching indoors. I remain in close contact with The Park Community Centre and intend returning to Monday and Thursday evening classes there as soon I have clarity from each Centre on their policies. Both courses had been fully booked before lockdown; I'll be getting in touch with all of those students before offering new places in The Park. Thanks to those of you requesting to be added to the waitlist.

Returning to online classes. Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime yoga, 1-2pm, via Zoom returns in October. For so many of us this was a meaningful anchor point of wellness and connection for many months. I will be designing themes and courses to allow you to go deeper into you practice. 

On a personal note I am returning to studying my Masters in Mindfulness (MSc MBI) with UCD in September. My course begins with a five-day silent retreat. During this time I am encouraged to sit in silence, (not always pleasant or easy), cultivating an acceptance of things as they are. Accepting me as I am. Helping me to teach you to accept you, just as you are. Whole, imperfect and infinitely lovable! 

Some of you have volunteered to be in my group for teaching an 8-week MBSR course in early 2022, thank you! I'll be in touch in Autumn with proposed dates, a re-iteration of what is expected of you (30-45 minutes a day personal practice) and next steps.

Please use the relevant Eircode to get to to the right venue (both venues are located in private homes, you may need a gate code for entry) - the easiest way to do this is join the relevant whatsapp group for eircode and access details.
