So much has changed! A message of connection from Sylvia.
Dear Yoga Friends,
How are you? How are you coping? Are you able to touch into your practice when things get scary for you? Remember, it’s earth beneath you to immediately calm you. Maybe, as you read, you can rest your awareness on the chair, couch or bed supporting you. Then, maybe, you can soften, just a little, and relax your body into the moment. Can you feel your breath? Can you soften into that?
Now, more than ever, our daily practices will help us. Classes in the outside world will be off for a while, nobody knows how long. But we have refined our skills, we can come back to earth and breath; we can quieten at will, we can soften into an acceptance of what is.
I will help you, every morning at 10am (GMT) on Facebook Live I will guide you through a ten minute meditation. #10minutesat10 is your online community, we will do this together! My page is Sylvia’s Yoga or Sylvia Ferguson.
If you are not currently on Facebook it might be worth considering it at the moment. There are lots of interesting online classes, courses and discussions currently being offered by the thought leaders out there, it’s an inspiring, albeit noisy, time.
I am looking into offering live online classes during this period. This week, for me, has been about taking a pause and connecting with loved ones and community.

Each Yoga Class is 45 mins, €10, Meditation is 15 mins, €5. Zen is all of them, two and a half hours of yoga, meditation, and yoga nidra.
Enjoy a led 45 minute hatha yoga class suitable for all levels and abilities. This all-round practice will connect you to your breath for a mindful flow that is both relaxing and strong in doses.
Enjoy Sylvia guiding you through a relaxing and restorative 45 minute practice to calm the mind and ease tension in the body. Get comfortable and warm, either in bed or on a yoga mat on the floor with blankets and and a small pillow if required, and prepare to drop into blissful serenity. (Audio only - all other classes are audio and video.)
A 45 minute invigorating, energising, yoga flow to enthuse and calm in equal doses. A heart-opening, hip-grounding practice.
A 40 minute dynamic yoga flow to stretch and release the body and to still and quieten the mind. A heat-melting, hip releasing practice.
Find calm, focus, and breath, to take you through your day with ease and grace.
Evening meditation. Quieten and still the body, and the thoughts, in preparation for peace and clarity of mind.

This too will pass and we will be be a stronger community for it. Take the time for practices that keep you well, nurture you, and develop you. This is a portal for us, times of great uncertainty lead to great resilience and strength.
