Outdoor Yoga in Marlay Park Wednesday mornings July and August!

Updated Wednesday 11th July 2018 - space for drop-ins, everyone welcome!

Wednesday mornings 9.30-10.30am €10 per class, everyone welcome!

Marlay Park Yoga takes place under a big tree close to the main car park, close to the big house. Concerts in the Park may disrupt parking and we may need to park in Lidl, Grange Road, and cross the main road to walk into the Park. To get to our tree you turn left upon entering the park, walk over the river and you'll see us on the left. If it's your first time coming please meet me at 9.20am at the car park entrance, I'll make my way from there to the tree to start the class at 9.30.  Don't worry if you run late, just come and join us.

Please bring: 1. Your yoga mat. 2. A small folded blanket or towel. 3. Water. 4. Sunscreen. 5. A hat 6. A warm later or a hoody in case there's a chilly breeze or in case we feel like a long savasana.

I have started a Whatsapp group for us, please text me on 0876822362 with your name and I'll add you. You're always welcome to message or call me on 0876822362. It's always fine to contact me on facebook, instagram or messenger.

Huge thanks to the wonderful yogis who came for our first class, we have 7 more wonderful weeks of soaking up our gorgeous, unpredictable Irish weather! If it rains leave your yoga mat behind, grab your raincoat and join us for a mindful forest walk.

Your yoga mat on soft grass, in the fresh air, under the rustle of leaves and the blue sky beyond…

We will be taking our mats to one of Ireland’s most beautiful parks, Marlay Park, every Wednesday morning at 9.30am ALL SUMMER LONG!!

Where?

We will be in Marlay Park in the large open field very close to the main car park on Grange Road. This is the car park that serves the main house, the courtyard and market and the coffee shop, LIDL is just across the road.

Upon entry into the Park look for us, we’ll be in the huge green field facing you and I think we’ll probably be to the left to have an option for the shade of the trees or sunlight. We’ll have the sound of the river nearby to compliment birdsong as our background music.

When?

Wednesday mornings, 9.30-10.30am, July and August. First class is Wednesday 4th July.

What if….?

If it rains leave your mat in the car and throw on your rain coat. We’ll meet in the same place for a guided mindful meditation walk through the forest. Posture, breath work, a focus for your thoughts and off we go … a rejuvenating walk through the leafy pathways. Some of our walk will in be silence … a challenge for all of us ;-)

How do I book?

Please book with me in advance; there is a limit to the number of participants. You can prepay July here: €35 for 4 weeks, or please contact me directly to book your place. 087 6822362.

What do I bring?

Please bring everything you need … a yoga mat is the only essential and not even if it is warm and dry. A small folded blanket can be nice. Warm layers are always recommended, even if it looks lovely when you leave your house, Marlay can get a cool breeze. SPF to protect your beautiful face. Water. Money if you fancy something delicious afterwards. If it’s raining dress for rain!

Always bring your open mind and your smile!

Any questions, comments, suggestions please get in touch. As always I am so grateful for the adventurous spirits of my incredible loyal, committed yoga students; I love you all and I can’t wait for us to make this a summer to remember.
