Join us for a supportive online yoga class that combines the power of yoga and mindfulness with a light touch of guided journaling. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this event is perfect for you. If you need a moment to stop, release and reset in life, so you can embody yourself from a place of calm awareness, this is the space for you.
We are online for this event so you can join us from your cosy home. We will start with grounding and breathwork. We will take the body through a good full-range-of-motion stretch, think of a big yawn for every muscle! A big release of tension and a good spacious stretch. Nothing too fast or sweaty but moments of strength, connection and inner awareness. Around the half-way mark we will pause for some contemplation, maybe with the aid of pen and paper if that’s helpful for you. We use a format for our guided journalling to assist with this curious, open approach.
We’ll close with some yin-style stretching closer to the floor and a long deep relaxation.
Please bring:
Your mat, two pillows, a blanket, something to cover the eyes, a do-not-disturb sign for your door! A pen and paper, either a notebook or some blank sheets. Something to sit on while you are writing and something to lean on while you are writing like a table or a book can be helpful. It’s fine to use table and chair for some of the workshop if it’s easier.
