Join us in September to use the power of intention as a tool to help us cultivate the self-discipline to continue to develop our practice. Two yoga classes a week, the recordings are there for you to play for the week. A ten minute daily meditation practice, yours all week!
With the turn of the season comes an opportunity to renew the commitment we have to working on ourselves in developing a strong yoga and meditation practice with a high degree of mindfulness.
The intention in our practice is to perceive clearly healthy and harmful patterns of both body and mind. We seek to be present with what is without a sense of struggle. In this way, little by little, we begin to release ourselves from the grip of old habits of mind, of tensions in the body.
The key to this approach is to maintain a sense of curiosity, openness and acceptance.
Each week I will guide you, in a seated meditation, to set an intention and to take this intention into the flow of your physical practice as best as you can. We will start seated for ten minutes, then you will have your recording for a ten minute guided daily meditation practice for the rest of the week.
It’s a life-long journey for us all; I’m here to help you find a graceful transition from unawareness to awareness.
Week 1. Intention: Clear perception.
Week 2. Intention: Patience.
Week 3. Intention: Curiosity.
Week 4. Intention. Compassion.
Each aspect of intention explored in our minds and our bodies to gently release habitual gripping and unease.
You can join us for the four weeks of September, 8 classes, by selecting a quantity of four here; it's also fine to select one and come week to week.
Live classes are on Tuesday and Thursday 1-2pm, you can catch up on recordings any time and watch them as often as you like all week.
